Good To Know Before You Come
Do I Need To Be A Member To Visit?
No. Visit, join a workshop or come to an event as often as you like. Membership is for people who want more: member prices, early booking and extras like Game World and the Make Space.
Can I Come Alone?
Yes. Coming alone feels normal here. A Community Host welcomes you, explains what’s happening and helps you join a game, a creative project or a conversation. Nobody is forced to talk.
Do You Serve Alcohol?
No. HEY SUA is alcohol-free, but there is more than coffee and hot chocolate: mocktails, tea, fresh chocolate milk and Belgian waffles.
Do I Need Experience For A Workshop?
No. You don’t need an existing hobby or any expertise. Our workshops are made for people who want to try something new, from Belgian chocolate to painting, jewelry and more.
What Is Game World?
A separate themed zone with 3 real gaming tables for role-playing and special games. Game World is for members, and newcomers can try it free once. Board games and other casual games in the Play Area are open to everyone.
What Is The Make Space?
A shared creative corner. Bring your own project, use our basic tools and materials, and continue whenever you want. Members on the Member and Member+ plans can use the Make Space during opening hours, except when a workshop is running. It’s available until 30 minutes before a workshop starts, so we have time to set up. You’ll find the workshop times in the program.
What Are Outings?
Once or twice a month we go out together: bowling, karting, escape rooms, ziplining or an amusement park. Everyone can sign up, and Member and Member+ get up to 10% off.
Can I Lead My Own Workshop?
Yes, if you are a Member or Member+. Tell us what you would like to teach, from a craft to a game to a skill. We review every proposal before it goes in the program.
How Much Does Membership Cost?
Essential is $35, Member is $45 and Member+ is $55 per month. Pay for a year and you get 12 months for the price of 10.
Where And When Do You Open?
In Tampa, Florida. We’re still looking for our space, so the address and opening date will follow. Join the waitlist and you’ll hear first.
Is There A Minimum Age?
Yes. HEY SUA is a place for adults to meet new friends, so all of HEY SUA, including workshops, games and events, is for guests 18 and older.
Can I Bring My Own Food Or Drinks?
No outside food or drinks, please. Your own games, campaigns, minis, dice and Make Space projects are always welcome.
